Vision
Living wetlands, sustainable future
Challenges
Since old times, humans have settled near water. The world's highly developed and most densely populated regions are often closely connected to wetlands.
Wetlands store and provide most of the freshwater resources, abundant in biodiversity, and can degrade pollution and regulate the climate. They are one of the most important living environments and ecological barriers for humanity, which play a critical role in global sustainable development. However, wetland ecosystems are also among the most threatened ecosystems worldwide.
To achieve global biodiversity, climate, and sustainability goals, and to build a harmonious Earth where humans and nature coexist, immediate action is needed to mitigate wetland loss.

Solutions
We believe that through social participation in conservation and education, using the concept of Nature-based Solutions (NbS), we can protect and restore wetland ecosystems. This is the most crucial path for wetland conservation.
We will actively leverage the foundation's networking, integrate resources, and carry out wetland conservation, restoration, education, and policy advocacy to ensure the effective use of social resources.
